      1. Sure thing!

    2. For me, and for this photo, color.

      1. thanks for sharing your opinion Ellen:).

    3. I enjoy the colour, patterns and similiar lines help me see visual clean, clear , crisp hues brilliant work!

      1. Thank you so much Susan:).

  2. Both pictures are wonderful. I prefer the color picture. They both tell a story. Great job!

  3. Color! I think that woman’s red shirt really pops with the purple building!

  4. Both are nice but the black and white is better

  5. Hi Ostendnomadography,

    I prefer the colored version.

    Cheers! Norah.

  6. I like the color image more. I like the muted overall tones contrasted with the brightness of the TV screen.

    Lovely shot! 😉 xoxoM

  7. I prefer color, but maybe that’s because I’m Mexican 🙂 lol

  8. I prefer the coloured version ;o)

  9. I prefer the colored version.

  10. I’d vote for the color shot, kind of a nice violet.
Are they watching TV, but it’s too hot to be indoors?

    1. They were watching a soccer game, and indeed it was very hot… .Thanks for commenting Robert. Usually I am more pro black/white but now: nice color contrast.

  11. Colour! It’s just so vibrant

  12. It’s a great shot! I prefer the one in colour.

    1. Thanks Alison and Don

  13. I usually love black and white photos, they make me nostalgic (probably because old photographs were B&W) and think about the lives these people could have lived, but in this case it’s exact opposite. In my opinion the coloured version tells the story better. 🙂

  14. B&W. Though if it was different colours I might feel differently as I don’t like the pale purple much. The screen stands out better in b&w.

  15. I think the preceding comments are proof that there is no such thing as a “right” opinion — because it’s based on personal preference. 🙂 I like your image either way, but I’m drawn to the black and white because it emphasizes the geometric shapes and composition. In the color version it’s the color itself that seems to be the main story, but it’s a bit distracting to me because the white balance seems to be skewed toward magenta (if you look at the backs of the chairs and the ground you’ll see they are the same shade as the wall). A slightly more balanced color profile that emphasized the difference between the ground and the chairs and the walls would really make your image “pop,” in my humble opinion. But again … great image! You’ve captured a really intriguing moment here. Cheers to you!

  16. I prefer the B&W, but I also like color.

    1. Thanks madame zenista😀

  17. I like the one in color.

  18. I prefer the black & white version, because it shows a more intimate setting.

  19. Colour! Here I see no reason for the b&w version.

  20. Latin America cries in, and for, color. 🙂

  21. Great question! I like how you’re experimenting with color and black-and-white. I think the black-and-white one was more powerful for me, it focused my attention on the people.

  22. I prefer the coloured, I think the black and white in this situation is too dull. Love your stuff!!!

    1. thanks for your opinion:).

      1. Stef, you are welcome!
