Barrio Italia is easy reachable with the green metroline 5, and get off on the Santa Isabel stop, follow the Santa Isabel street to the Av. Italia. Bus D18 brings you to Barrio Italia as well.

Why Barrio Italia-> Italian ice-cream, antiques shops, art galleries, design shops, crafts Fair,… . Really feels like an colorfull open air gallery  for young and old. Important note: just enter a shop, and you will notice that there is much more to see behind the door and even more shops inside the building.

    1. Well, I agree with you… Santiago need some time to be appreciated(b’aires is my absolute number 1 in south america). I’ve just stopped to compare santiago with other cities & capitals… took the time to stroll through the streets… watch the streetlife, get lost with my camera… . I am going to Santiago for some special reason… but its from the third time (december 2016) that I am starting to appreciate Santiago.
